James is a Senior Manager in the Transaction Services team, advising private equity investors and lenders across a range of transaction scenarios. He trained as a Chartered Accountant with EY and later Wilkins Kennedy, where he built a strong foundation in Audit and Assurance, working with businesses ranging from owner-managed companies to large multinational groups. He moved into Corporate Finance in 2017 at Wilson Partners, where he gained extensive experience working with private equity-backed businesses, including assignments for BGF, Mobeus and Puma. He joined JCK in 2020 and has since worked with a wide range of clients including Chiltern, YFM and H.I.G. Capital across a range of sectors.

His work focuses on financial due diligence and pre-lending reviews, supporting clients through acquisitions, refinancings and other complex deal processes. James is known for his clear, pragmatic analysis and his ability to identify the issues that matter most to decision-makers.
