Phil Snell is a Partner and head of our Business Tax team at James Cowper Kreston, advising business owners on all aspects of corporate tax. With many years’ experience, including time spent at one of the Big 4 advising entrepreneurial clients, Phil brings a wealth of experience to the Business Tax team to deliver commercial, proactive tax advice across a wide variety of sectors.

Phil specialises in working with owner-managed, family, and private equity-backed businesses on all aspects of corporate tax, from shareholder planning, corporate reorganisations, structuring advice for refinancing, acquisitions and disposals, and due diligence.

Phil has a particular interest in helping clients navigate the complex tax issues that arise from selling a business either through an MBO or to a third party and enjoys being hands on throughout the process.
